What did this boy do to offend the dog?

He’s not quite as good a climber as the cat, but he’s still pretty good.

I googled hedgehogs before drawing this piece and found lots of warnings against kissing hedgehogs. Apparently, some kids are getting sick after kissing their hedgehogs. It’s even illegal to own a pet hedgehog in some states. I had no idea. And since I didn’t actually read any of the articles, I still don’t really know about this.
