Remember when I posted a page of “notes” I took at a conference months ago? I thought it would be fun to revisit the astronaut lion I sketched there. So here he is.
In my continuing quest to broaden my horizons (and draw things which no one has yet hired me to do), I present this book cover:
If this were a real book, I imagine it would be a YA novel about people disappearing in a dystopian future.

This is Captain Asterion, the defender of everything that might possibly need defending! He was the star of a graphic novel concept I’ve played with on and off but never completed. Maybe someday the world will see more of him. Maybe.
